SYSTEMATIC ANALYSIS OF THE EDUCATION REFORM BILLS, 2026

The delegation included Kitutu Masaba Member of Parliament, Hon. Clive Gisairo, and Siaya County Woman Representative, Hon. Dr. Christine Oduor Ombaka. The team was received by the Ag. Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academics, Research and Extension, Prof. Paul Nthakanio, who welcomed the delegation on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Daniel Mugendi.

The Committee subsequently held a public hearing in the Executive Auditorium, where it engaged stakeholders from the education sector and gathered their views, opinions and recommendations on the proposed legislation. The exercise provided an opportunity for stakeholders to contribute to the legislative process by sharing their perspectives on the six Education Bills under consideration.
