Prof. Stefania Pontrandolfo Courtesy Call to the VC

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Daniel Mugendi, on Thursday, 10th September 2026, welcomed Prof. Stefania Pontrandolfo, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Sciences at the University of Verona, Italy, who paid him a courtesy call at the University of Embu. She was accompanied by Dr. Madrine King’endo, a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education and Social Sciences.

Prof. Pontrandolfo is visiting Kenya for the first time, with her visit to Embu focusing on community outreach programmes aimed at engaging with local communities and contributing to initiatives that promote knowledge sharing and social development. The visit also provided an opportunity to explore areas of mutual interest and potential collaboration between the University of Embu and the University of Verona.
