Africa Public Service Day 2026

The University of Embu is proudly participating in the Africa Public Service Day 2026 National Celebrations, which commenced on 22nd June 2026 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi.

The event was officially inaugurated by the Cabinet Secretary for the State Department for Public Service, Human Capital Development and Special Programmes, Hon. Geoffrey Kiringa Ruku, who underscored the critical role of innovation, collaboration, and effective public service delivery in driving sustainable development across Africa.

This year’s celebration is guided by the theme: “Enhancing Public Sector Institutions and Empowering Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships to Achieve Universal Water Availability and Safe Sanitation by 2063.” The theme aligns with the aspirations of Agenda 2063 and highlights the importance of strengthening institutions and partnerships to improve access to essential services.

At the exhibition, the University of Embu is showcasing its innovative Unified Digital Ecosystem (UDE)—a comprehensive in-house ICT solution that seamlessly integrates all University applications into a single digital platform. The system enhances operational efficiency, streamlines service delivery, improves data management, and supports informed decision-making, demonstrating the University’s commitment to digital transformation and excellence in public service.

Through this participation, the University of Embu continues to reaffirm its dedication to innovation, technology-driven solutions, and collaborative partnerships that contribute to national and continental development.
