HELB Team Visits UoEm to Support Newly Admitted Students with Loan Applications

A team of three officials from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) paid a courtesy visit to the University of Embu (UoEm) on Thursday, 3rd September 2026, to support newly admitted students in navigating the loan application and processing procedures.

The visit provided an opportunity for the HELB officials to engage with newly admitted students, offer guidance on the loan application process, address queries, and provide practical assistance to students seeking financial support to fund their university education.

The initiative is aimed at ensuring that eligible students can access higher education financing in a timely manner, enabling them to pursue their studies with minimal financial constraints and without unnecessary interruptions.

The University of Embu continues to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to facilitate access to student support services and create an enabling environment for students to successfully commence and complete their studies.
