Courtesy Call by Hon. FCPA, Dr. Wycliffe Ambesta Oparanya, CS

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Daniel Mugendi, on Wednesday, 22nd July 2026, welcomed Hon. Dr. Wycliffe Oparanya, Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Co-operatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), who paid him a courtesy call at his office.

The Cabinet Secretary was accompanied by the Eastern Regional Commissioner, Mr. Jacob Ouma Muganda, the Embu West Deputy County Commissioner, Ms. Mercy Gatobu, and members of the University’s Senior Management.

The courtesy visit provided an opportunity to strengthen engagement between the University and the Ministry, while reaffirming the institution’s commitment to fostering strategic partnerships that support innovation, entrepreneurship, cooperative development, and the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises for sustainable national development.
