
University of Embu Welcomes First Batch of KUCCPS-placed Students
The University of Embu (UoEm) on Monday, 31st August 2026, welcomed the first batch of newly admitted students to the School of Education. The cohort comprises more than 2,000 students out of the 4,238 students placed at the University by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The new students were received and guided through the admission and registration process as they commenced their academic journey at the University. The growing enrolment reflects UoEm’s continued commitment to providing quality, accessible and transformative higher education to students from across the country.
