Visit by the Director, DAAD Regional Office for Africa

The Director, DAAD Regional Office for Africa, Ms. Beate Schindler-Kovats, visited the University of Embu on Thursday, 2^nd June 2022. The Director paid a courtesy call to the Vice-Chancellor’s office after touring various research labs in the University. She also had an opportunity to meet with members of the University management and the beneficiaries of DAAD programmes.

The visit presents an opportunity for the university to explore areas of mutual interest, collaborations and in-depth discussion on sponsorship and funding programmes. The Director presented on the DAAD funding programmes for Masters and PhD students, PostDoc researchers and DAAD alumni.
