The University of Embu signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Kenya Association of Women in Tourism (KAWT) on Tuesday, 25th January 2022 at the University. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Daniel Mugendi received the KAWT team and led discussions on the envisaged areas of collaboration.
The VC noted the MoU would create a welcome collaboration with KAWT in terms of capacity building by providing opportunities for staff and students to access further training, attachment, internship and job placement opportunities especially for students taking hospitality and tourism-related courses.
