A team of four officials from the Ministry of Education, led by Mr. Mulatya Nzumbi, together with a representative of the French Government, Mr. Cyril Liotard, visited the University of Embu to conduct a site verification as part of the consideration of UoEm for the Higher Education Engineering Equipment Support Project (HESP). The team paid a courtesy call to the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, where they were received by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Planning, Administration and Finance, Prof. Eucharia Kenya, and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academics, Research and Extension, Prof. Paul Nthakanio. The team later carried out a site verification audit to assess the University’s level of preparedness to host the project.
