UoEm – KIPPRA Mentorship Workshop

The University of Embu in collaboration with Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA) hosted a 2-day policy Workshop on 31st March 2022 and 1st April, 2022. The theme of the Workshop was “Building Back Better in Post Covid -19 to accelerate Achievement of the Big Four Agenda”  The Workshop was hosted under the KIPPRA Mentorship Programme for Universities (KMPUs). The objective of the Workshop was to create awareness and develop capacity of the University Community in understanding the public policymaking process. The participants were drawn from the University of Embu Staff, Students, KIPPRA staff, facilitators from KIPPRA, Vision 2030 Delivery Secretariat, SME Support Centre, Youth Enterprise Development Fund, Kenya Industrial Property Institute, Directorate of National Cohesion and Values, Embu College and Chuka University, Embu Campus. The workshop was officially opened by KIPPRA Board Director, Dr. Chris Galgalo and attended by KIPPRA Executive Director, Dr. Rose Ngugi and UoEm Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Daniel Mugendi.
