University hosts Embu County Chapter of Akurinu Religious Group for Tree Planting Ceremony

The University in conjunction with County Government of Embu & Kenya Forest Service (KFS) among other stakeholders on Friday, 7^th May 2021 hosted the Akurinu Religious Group, Embu Chapter as they planted more than 5000 tree seedlings to commemorate of 100 years of existence of the Akurinu Faith and Heritage in Kenya.
The initiative will contribute towards the government’s commitment to plant two million trees by 2022 and reach the 10 percent tree cover.
