Tree Planting Exercise

The University of Embu (UoEm), in conjunction with Miyawaki Forest, on Wednesday, 18th March 2026 established a botanical learning garden, with over 48 tree species planted. This initiative is a follow-up to a Memorandum of Understanding signed on Friday, 5th December 2025 between UoEm and MITI Alliance.

The exercise has resulted in the planting of more than 7,200 tree seedlings along the Dam 5 Nature Trail, located behind the Prof. George Magoha Library.
