Prof. Jane White Courtesy Call

The University of Embu had the honour of hosting Prof. Jane White, a distinguished Professor and leader in the mathematical sciences from the Institute for Mathematical Innovation at the University of Bath, during a two-day engagement focused on exploring collaborative opportunities in training, research and innovation.  The visit brought together scholars, researchers, and university management in discussions aimed at strengthening partnerships in mathematics education, research methods, teaching excellence, and institutional collaboration.
Prof. White, who is actively involved in capacity building initiatives in mathematics and fostering collaborative research networks across institutions, engaged with postgraduate students, faculty, and university management through seminars, presentations, and roundtable discussions.
The sessions highlighted opportunities for international collaboration, mathematical innovation, and strengthening research capacity between the University of Embu, the University of Bath, and the Institute for Mathematical Innovation.
The engagement reaffirmed the University’s commitment to advancing global partnerships, research excellence, and innovation-driven learning.
