Outstanding Young Researcher Award (2023)

The winner of the Outstanding Young Researcher Award (2023) at the University of Embu is Dr Zakayo Morris Ndiku, a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. He holds a PhD in Statistical Signal Processing from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (2020).

Dr Ndiku’s research interests are Statistical Signal Processing, Estimation Theory, Survival Analysis, and Statistical Modeling. He has published widely, and his most recent publications are in IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems.
