COL’OR (Camminiamo Oltre I’orizzonte) NGO Courtesy Call

Photos taken during a consultative meeting between the University of Embu and COL’OR which is a NGO from the University of PieMonte Orie Otale, Italy.  The team led by Fr. Harrison Gichunge, Diocese of Meru, COL’OR C.E.O, Prof. Paulo Rossi and Mr. Angelo Moratti, COL’OR Polytechnic of Turin, Italy paid a courtesy visit to the University on Tuesday 27th February, 2024 .The team was welcomed to the University by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academics, Research & Extension, Prof. Kiplagat Kotut on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Daniel Mugendi. They later on held a meeting to establish a linkage with UoEm and identify possible areas of collaboration.  COL’OR has been working with Meru and Tharaka Nithi County and is determined to work with the University to connect with communities to transfer knowledge to the real  world as obliged by the government. They are also committed to engaging the Italian Research Institute to collaborate with Education and Religious Institutions in Kenya.
