The Board of Postgraduate Students held its 8th Publishing Workshop on Thursday, 27th March, 2025, at the Charter Hall. The workshop was officially opened by the Registrar of Academics, Research, and Extension, Prof. Jackson Wachira, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Daniel Mugendi.
The event aimed to equip postgraduate students with essential academic publishing skills while providing a platform to engage with experienced researchers, gain diverse publishing insights, and understand the roles of students and supervisors in the publication process.
Attended by postgraduate students and members of the academic staff, the workshop covered topics such as research paper writing, theoretical and conceptual frameworks, data analysis, publishing experiences from different perspectives, referencing, plagiarism detection, journal selection, and manuscript submission processes
