2025 Matriculation Ceremony

The University of Embu officially welcomed its first-year students during the Matriculation Ceremony held on Friday, 29 th August 2025, at the University Sports Field. The colorful event, graced by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Daniel Mugendi, marked the students’ formal induction into the University community and set the tone for their academic journey. In his inspiring address, Prof. Mugendi congratulated the freshmen for earning a place at the University, noting that only 25.53% of the 2024 KCSE candidates qualified for university admission. “You are part of the top quarter of Kenya’s academic achievers, a distinction you should carry with pride,” he remarked.
