The University of Embu held its Annual Interfaith Service on Friday, 29th August, 2025. The service was held at the University Graduation Pavillion and was attended by members of the University management, staff, and students.
The service brought together students and staff of different religious faiths to thank God for the previous academic year and seek His guidance throughout the new Academic Year 2025/2026. The theme of the service was “Walking in the Light of God: A search for true Knowledge and Wisdom” and the key verse was drawn from Prov.1:7 and the Qur’an verse 30:23. The guest speaker from CITAM, Rev. Purity Murungi spoke about realising dreams and nurturing them to their full potential. Drawing from the Scriptures, she reminded the congregation that the fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. She encouraged the students to spend time with God, noting that it will guide them beyond the life of the student.
The University wishes all its new and continuing students the best as they begin the new Academic Year.
