2023 Charter Anniversary and Customer Service Week Celebration

The University of Embu celebrated seven years since the award of Charter on Friday, 6th October 2023, which was awarded to the University on 7th October 2016. The 2023 Charter Anniversary and Customer Service Week was observed from 2nd to 6th October 2023 as a way of reaching out to its customers and the community and appreciating their contribution to the growth and success of the University. This year’s theme was “Celebrating Seven Years of Excellence in Performance and Customer Service.” The Ceremony was attended by members of the University Management, Heads of Sections, UESA leaders, Staff and Students. The guest speaker for the occasion was Revered Dr. Moses Masamba from ACK Mbeere Diocesan. The day is observed annually in the University Calendar as the Charter Day.  The highlight of the celebrations was the cutting of the Charter Anniversary Cake outside the Administration Block.
