2021 Day of the African Child

The University in collaboration with the Embu County Department of Children Services and other stakeholders joined Africa and the World in commemorating the Day of the African Child which is celebrated on 16^th June annually.
This year’s theme was “30 years after the adoption of the Charter (African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of Children (ACRWC), accelerated implementation of Agenda 2040 for an Africa fit for children”.
